Spiraling Out of Control (Open, party of 2)

Tristan was humming to himself as he explored. He was not really concerned with anything at the moment. All he really wanted was to kill some things. Funnily enough, it wasn't even killing things that appealed.

It was getting to punch something with fire.

He still hadn't used his new gauntlet, but he still had a name for it. He even decided to name the other one as well. The offensive one was named Petal Puncher, and the other was Fang Fist. And he really wanted the two to earn their names. 

He had started looking everywhere for anything to fight when he heard something approaching him. He whipped around and drew back his fist, ready to punch whatever monsters may be around.

Today, Luka decided to do some exploring on her own today. It was the same place as usual, being the spiral. Luka kind of wanted to visit the place again during the normal time to see what it was like once more, if only to compare it to how it was now. Making her way up the spiral, she noticed that boy from a lot of the previous fights. His name was Tristan, right? She had run into him a few times now.

Hey. Let's fight together today. Shall we? She called out to him. As she recalled, he was one of the other strong fighters out of their group as a whole. Possibly better than her. As someone who used a weapon, she could only strike one target at a time while others could hit as multiple. It was a bit of a drawback with her abilities. On the bright side, her weapons seemed to do quite a bit of damage.

Tristan lowered his fist when he saw Blue. He was pretty sure her name was Luki or something, but Blue was far easier to remember. Of course, her name- or nickname- didn't influence the fact that he almost punched her. He really needed to calm down, he supposed. He sighed and tried to relax as some demons barged in. It was the exact same pair of demons that he had fought alongside Kate. "Hey, Blue," Tristan said while looking over the two creatures. "I'll take the purple chick down, you get the bird." Then, before the girl could answer or the creatures could attack, Odysseus appeared and boosted Tristan's speed. Before rushing into battle, though, the boy cast the same spell on Blue. "Try not to get hit too much, alright?" With that being said, he ran directly for the purple demon.

This one, much like the other he had fought before, tried to attack with a sword. Tristan shrugged the attack off without any harm, as the blade stopped on contact. He, however, knew something that could hurt her. He refrained from starting with that spell, though, as he was curious as to what the creature was weak to. He started with lightning, knowing that it wouldn't do much harm. He then tried a wind attack, which had a similar effect. He noted that it seemed like the spells were weak, not really resisted. He then tried an ice spell, which made the woman shriek in agony. It didn't seem to hurt much, but it definitely hurt more.

Glad with his work, Tristan summoned Odysseus. As the Persona readied the darkness spell, the demon cast a fire spell that Tristan didn't have time to dodge. It hurt, but it wasn't enough to stop him. He cast his spell and watched as the darkness ate the demon away. He then turned to see if Blue was having difficulties with the bird. He hoped he hadn't made the wrong choice concerning targets. After all, he didn't want to make it more difficult for the girl.

B-Blue? When did she get such an odd nickname? Also, who was he to tell her not to get hit so much. She could dodge most attacks as it was. Drawing her faintly glowing blade, Luka charged at the Phoenix with astounding speed. She landed a powerful upward swing on the bird, putting it into the air for it to be juggled like an enemy in a fighting game. She jumped upward to meet the bird and began to slice it up with astounding speed. Before landing, she kicked it away to bring some distance between them. She was hit by a powerful fire attack right after.

Brushing off the attack, she charged at the now heavily wounded bird and impaled it in the chest. Overall it was an easy victory. She didn't need to exert herself much to take down a single enemy. Any more than that and that would be actual exercise.
