Jacob hadn't really registered how the rest of the fight had gone, he was too preoccupied with keeping his insides inside. An initial reinvigorating flame from his persona at least cauterized the wounds, but any deeper healing than that would require a safer enviroment than this dark neighbourhood. "Luka! open the door before more get here, I'm in no condition to fight a second wave!"

Jacob tossed her the front door keys. He didn't trust himself with being able to get them in the lock, woozy as he was right now. he slowly and painfully crawled up from the ground, clutching his cane for support. Once, he collapsed on his knee due to foolishly trying to stand up with his right leg. But then, he was upright, however unsteady he was.

As Luka ran over to her fallen companion, she watched as he shut his own wound with some strange fire. He would definitely need to be moved inside the house. Thrusting open the door, Luka quickly looked for something in the house to drag him along. Picking someone up or moving them when wounded would only cause more potential damage on the body. But as she got back outside, Jacob was already standing back up. You know it's not good to be walking around with a wound like that. She abandoned her plan before and simply helped him into the house before anything else made it over to them. If she needed to, she could easily kill a shadow or two in a split second. Luckily, this was a bit easier than an escort mission. They managed to get into the house where Luka promptly locked the door with the keys she had.

Are you able to heal yourself? That ability you used before seemed sort of like a healing ability. Since they were in a relatively safe place now, she could figure out some answers.

Jacob made his way inside, to the relative safety of his apartment complex. "Well... I'd rather risk bleeding some more than I already have than be a sitting duck for the shadows..." A somewhat nervous silence fell. "I can heal myself somewhat. Though I doubt I can fix all this in one go."

As jacob said this, he cast dia on himself a few more times. His posture had grown more stable. and he looked a lot more alive than some  moments prior. There was still a somewhat noticable cautiousness in his step, as he was still nursing a wound that might jsut decide to burst open again when he overexerted himself.

He looked at luka once more. "Well, that's about all the excitement I can take... Want to sit out the rest of the dark hour in my apartment?
