It was a sundown in the yoyogi neighbourhood. A figure, mostinconsequential, slipped away to a place elsewhere. Jacob had decided to take a second expedition into the mirror world. He was growing quite confident he would find others there. For some reason, people that were awakened to the happening sin the night like him tended to run into him whenever he investigated the matter.

Jacob stepped into the overgrown facsimile of his neighbourhood, the flaming figure his mind summoned following close behind. Having it out had become less and less tiring to his mind every time he tried it out. To the point he didn't even notice it being draining as long as he didn't exert power.

[Kate Minola]

Kate had returned to this 'dark world' version of the park. Every time she came here, she felt like she was playing Silent Hill all over again - and the second game, the really good and creepy one. The change between the reality of Yoyogi Park and this mockery of it was very drastic and it always intrigued and impressed her. She pushed on, walking through the undergrowth with her bow hanging on her shoulder and her quiver restocked with arrows.

She was rather impressed with the stark difference between the shadowy creatures and the things that popped up here. They were always fairy-like but there was something inherently sinister and nasty about them that bothered her. Like they were... wrong, somehow.

As she walked on, she noticed someone in the gloom ahead of her. They looked human enough, followed by a large fiery creature. Must be a Persona and its user. Not wanting to give herself away to everything within earshot, she didn't speak until she had gotten quite close to him.

"Hey," she said coolly. "Haven't seen you before. I'm Kate," she said, sizing him up. He was older than the other Persona Users she'd met, closer to 25.

[Tristan Carter]

Tristan looked around. The park didn't seem too different from the first time he had been there. This was surprising, given how there had been a tremendous battle last time. Still, it was nothing to be focused on. Not yet. Right now, he was simply trying to kill everything. Pure Training Regimen, starting now.

He wasn't surprised to see a couple of other humans. Still, he decided to stand back for now. Better to have a tactical advantage than to socialize right now. All he needed to do was wait. After all, the youkai- he thought that was their name, but he wasn't quite sure- they seemed to find him well enough.

[Kate Minola]

As usual, there were monsters to be fought. She gave a brisk nod to the young man - Tristan was his name, right? It was something like that. She pulled her bow off her shoulder and frowned at the two creatures. They had a strange appearance, very solid and something told Kate not to fire arrows immediately. Instead, she summoned forth her Persona and blast them with fire.

Although fairly weak, the fire did have a wide spread and hit both creatures. She nocked an arrow and fired after all, just to watch it hit one with a dull thunk and not much effect.

The creature countered by rushing up to her and delivering a massive swing of the arm that caught her unprepared and knocked Kate backwards on her back. It was a very hard hit but she handled it, managing somehow to protect her glasses.

Right. Tough old beans, then.

Antiope would have better luck, perhaps and she surged forth with a heavy-handed overhead swing of her spear, the large blade striking home but still not doing a lot of damage.

The creature responded by belching out a plume of fire at her. Kate frowned and stood her ground. As she expected, the fire didn't hurt that much and she responded in kind with another wave of fire. That did a little better than physical attacks but Kate had to choose between exhausting herself with them or waste time firing arrow after arrow at it. She chose a midway solution and after somehow dodging a swing, she blasted them once again with fire.

She fired more arrows at it, trying to catch it in the eye or some other vital organ. She dodged another blow, purely by chance and repeated the fire wave.

Fortunately, a hit from her arrow to the forehead finally put the damned thing out of its misery.

[Tristan Carter]

Tristan watched as the woman dealt with one of the youkai. He supposed he could have stepped in and easily defeated the two of them. After all, they didn't respond well to his dark magics. However, he wanted to see how resourceful the woman was. He supposed he could let the man fight as well, but he was using a cane and Tristan doubted he was much of a fighter.

Tristan stepped forward and summoned Odysseus. The Greek brandished no weapons, but the atmosphere seemed to get darker. With a smile, Tristan raised his hand in sync with the darkness rising from below the youkai. The darkness swallowed the monster and left nothing behind when it abated.

Jacob simply watched as the two other persona users went on a devestating rampage right through the hapless demons. As they fought, Jacob took the oppurtunity to leisurly scan the two users. It could always be useful to know the location of allies nearby.

As the silence that always followed the din of battle fell, he cleared his throat. "Well... I can see you two are a lot more competent at killing things than I am... So I'll make a note not to antagonize any of you."

Jacob waited a moment for his little joke to sink in, and then continued, extending his hand in an offered handshake in the process. "Jacob peeters. I believe we have met before at the meeting?"
