Truth be told, Haruna had only gotten time to go to the Crossing only recently—and that was on the behest of her adoptive mother insisting that she needed a change of wardrobe. She could remember the little scene that had ensued between the two of them; but in the end, she conceded to the older woman’s wish—now the problem was what was she going to purchase? “I can’t just go crashing around and buy…” she muttered to herself, quickly groping through the pockets of her jeans and finding the rather thick wallet that she’d brought along with her.

The contents of this wallet were mostly her identification cards; discount coupons and several business cards that she’d asked from the two clubs that she’d joined over at the Todai—and due to her indecision she very nearly missed the crowd that was crossing through the ‘Scramble’ as she liked to call it in the back of her mind. It reminded her of a certain game she’d gotten hooked on recently; and she was thinking, what if that world was real? Were there people just disappearing in broad daylight?

“Ehh,” she hissed to herself as she scurried after the crowd of people crossing the huge intersection, trying her best to keep up without looking too obvious that she was carrying a lot of cash on her person. “Might as well make the most of it,” she continued to mutter softly, getting so preoccupied that she wasn’t exactly watching where she was headed…

Tristan simply wanted to go for a walk. Sure, he wasn't ecstatic about dealing with crowds, but he wanted to walk around. He also wanted to see a part of Tokyo he hadn't been in for a while. The result of his desires? He was now part of a massive mob of pedestrians in Shibuya Crossing.

He was wearing his usual attire of jeans and a tee, not that he focused on that. What he noticed was, among the people and sights, there was a girl of around his age who had almost fallen behind the group. She also appeared to be somewhat lost in thought. Tristan, ever so clever, started to work his way over towards her. He wasn't going to say anything yet, no. That'd be creepy. Still, he wanted to make sure the girl was alright.

Due to her internal ‘wigging out’ session (since she was in the real-life location for that particular game she just couldn’t get out of her head) she’d gotten self-absorbed and very nearly lost her footing—only when she felt her balance shift ever so dangerously she then snapped back into reality and almost bumped into several pedestrians that were rushing to get across!

“O-oh! Sorry!” she called out to the little crowd of what looked to be girls around her age that were either modeling high fashion or just plain ‘dressing to impress’. Not even so much as an apology in return, why I oughta… she thought in the back of her mind, feeling her temper rise just a bit at the rashness that she’d seen.

Of course, she didn’t notice that there was someone else headed her way; and she continued to look around rather distractedly, holding on to her rather thick wallet just in case someone had dared to take it from right under her nose. Clothes… I can already see it now… all those jeans and shirts and tops! She continued to herself in the back of her mind, before looking straight up at the building that wasn’t too far off in the distance—the 109; also known as Shibuya’s ‘Center of Fashion’.

Haruna then slowed down long enough to look around the place—who knows, what if she was in ‘the Game’ already? To her dismay though, everything still looked normal—people going to and fro; things like that. It wasn’t until much later did her field of vision snap around to see that there was someone slowly but surely attempting to make his way over to her! She then came to a halt on the sidewalk, looking around ever-so-casually before finally locking eyes with the young man that was walking her way.

“Yes? Something wrong?” she inquired in his direction once he was within hearing distance.

Tristan looked at the young woman as she almost created a disturbance in the flow of people. He was sure she seemed out of it, somehow. Something about her seemed extremely distracted. Maybe she was one of the people with Persona abilities? No matter what, he needed to be sure she was alright and didn't hurt herself.

Suddenly, she turned towards him and spoke in almost accusatory tones. He jumped slightly from surprise and gave a sheepish smile. "I was just making sure you were alright, miss," he said with the smile. He then dropped the smile and put on a concerned look. However, he was feeling a touch more suspicious. He had no way of telling if she had a Persona without asking her outright.

"You see, miss, you seemed a touch... out of it," he said with a slight tilt of his head. "I was just wanting to see if you were alright."
