All's Fair in Love and Warhol (Open, party of 3)

Eliza decided that, nothing else, she needed to see what her "Persona" could do. She had met a strange blonde who had given her a tarot card and said that it would make it easier to make the "Persona" manifest. She had also received a sledgehammer from an odd pair who were running a smithy, it seemed. Eliza, always quick to put two and two together, realized that there wouldn't be an operation like that just for her benefit. There would definitely be others with a "Persona" if she was reading the signs correctly.

She could feel the strength of the things in certain areas and was scared by it. She could feel the power vary, though, and when she found a place that seemed far weaker than the others, she went inside. She knew this couldn't be a good idea, but it was required if she wanted to find out what was going on.

Her last attempt to try and fight for herself didn't go so well.  Strike resistant enemies would be very difficult for her to kill, especially when the opponent was much more capable offensively than she was.  That was no reason to give up though, as there were plenty of weak creatures prowling about.  Perhaps she'd have more luck with the ones from the midnight other world.  Regardless, she was going to have to do a lot of fighting before she had sufficient experience to handle a situation like this, so she would likely go on many excursions like this.

There was a new person here.  Lucretia opted to scan the new person before the nearby shadows attacked this time, since her persona now let her gauge the target's skills as well.  She appeared to be a healing type, which looked very useful.  This was only the second one she came across with such as skill.

With that done, she approached and waved to the girl, waiting for the monsters to try to surprise them as they always seemed to try.

More wandering tonight. Museums weren't exactly his thing, and the further he went into the building, the more bored he got. It was too dark for him to read the placards by the exhibits, and the artwork looked a bit warped in the darkness. Or, maybe that was just him. Yeah, it was just him. His ability to see was getting more and more weird(?) as the night went on. He was tired, but falling asleep here would be counterproductive and detrimental to his well-being.

Yuuki stretched out his arms over the length of his shinai, yawning audibly. His eyes caught a glimpse of that one girl with the floss contraption, and a girl he had never seen before. So far, no males. It'd be nice to talk to them casually, but it seems as though they had no time for that. Something stirred, and he felt as though that the creatures will pop out any second. Pre-preemptively, he summoned his Persona, the Black Knight appearing in front of him in a spiral of blackened mist. Its appearance was quite villainous, and he hoped that people wouldn't be alarmed. 

"I shouldn't have skipped dinner..."

Four creatures, she scanned each of them and pointed out their strengths, weaknesses and skills to all the humans here.  Rather than talking with her voice, she opted to talk with her mind.  Even if it generally shocked everyone who was new to it in her experience they got used to it pretty quickly.

The most troublesome one was the one who could actually bring the others back to life.  There was a healer too, and the fact that those skills were on different creatures was quite annoying.  There didn't seem to be any point to trying to get rid of the healer before getting rid of the one that could just bring the healer back if it was killed.

Her pockets just had a stress ball and some shoe strings tonight.  Not ideal for this situation, however, there was a particularly large and pointy statue in this area.  If she could get that to fall on the shadow she'd be golden.  The statue looked much too heavy for her to push over on her own though, so she was going to have to get creative.  She poked a small hole in the ball, letting all the fluid inside spill onto the floor next to the statue, making the area slippery enough for her to lean into the display pillar and knock it over.  The relic was crushed under the combination of weight and pointy metal.  The process was slow enough that it did manage to get a couple of attacks out first, which was made it harder to push the thing, but with a healer here she wasn't too concerned.

Eliza turned towards approaching footfalls, certain it was more things like the monster that attacked her that night. When she only saw a girl, she grew even more tense. It was only made worse when an amorphous blob appeared behind her in a flash of light. However, the blob vanished quickly, which put Eliza at ease. The girl then got closer and waved, which did little to put Eliza's mind at ease. Another series of footfalls heralded the presence of a young man who was followed by the appearence an evil-looking knight before muttering something about dinner. Are those... Things behind them those "Personas" that chick was talking about? Eliza asked herself, growing more frightened with each passing moment. If they are, does that mean that the angel is what she meant by my Persona?

Eliza didn't have time to debate this as a large group of monsters appeared. The other girl said something about weaknesses, only it didn't seem right. Eliza wasn't sure, but something about the way the girl said it seemed wrong. She watched, paralyzed by fear once again, as the girl made a statue fall on one of the things. The monster died underneath, but not before attacking. Everyone in the room was seemingly hit by a powerful magic, which Eliza found to be less of a stretch of logic than monsters and angels appearing because of tarot cards. Still, she wanted to help them fight, somehow. 

She looked at the card, which was now glowing. I don't know how I can help, but it wouldn't be right for me to leave them alone, she told herself. She tightened her grip on the card, shattering it like glass. The angel from before appeared, individually healing the wounds caused by the monster's attacks. Then, it did something even more strange: it cast a bright, warm light over Eliza and the boy. Eliza felt her skin toughen somehow, and though she didn't understand, she knew the boy would be experiencing the same. However, she felt drained by the angel's actions.

The monster that the other girl pointed out as being strong to light approached Eliza from behind, casting a spell of darkness that hit each of the humans. Eliza summoned the angel again, healing each of them and feeling more tired with each healing. Still, she was determined to continue to help and not rely on the others. She took her new weapon and slung it over her shoulder. She ran towards the thing getting within range for her to swing the sledgehammer down, hitting it right in its masked face. The mask broke a little, but Eliza didn't have the strength to continue. 

"Hey, kid," she said to the boy. "I would help more, but I'm exhausted. I can't keep fighting. Everything else is up to you. If you survive, I'll manage to heal you, somehow. So there you go."

Raised a brow at the voice inside of his head. He placed a hand upon an ear, looking at Lucretia while she did her voodoo doohicky thing with the voice. However, it was more convenient to simply pay attention than to pay attention and listen to someone who may or may not be close by. It was a boon that came with her Persona, most definitely. Why couldn't he have something like that?

The creatures from the darkness rose from the darkest darknesses in the darkness, like the dark creatures that they darkly were. Seriously, they all looked like they belonged to the museum with how strange they all looked. Couldn't they take a much more 'human' look? That would look a whole lot more menacing than piles of heads with masks on their faces. Yuuki groaned and rubbed his face, feeling the fatigue set in. A rule about eating before going out would have been nice to put into place, but school always seems to scatter his brain in the absolutely wrong ways.

A heavy wave of an unknown force crashed into him, and he was forced to brace himself to prevent from toppling over. The Relic that the scanner girl was fighting fought back against her eventually successful attempts to crush it. One down, but it was by far one of the least difficult monsters to deal with in this particular pack. This pain was made brief by a healing spell from the other girl, who revealed herself to have what appeared to be an angel as a Persona. Concurrently, another spell was cast that dulled his sense of touch. Specifically, it dulled his sense of pain.

Yuuki turned his head towards Elizabeth, and took note of her own fatigue. With the amount of spells that her Persona had cast and remembering the prior observation of such magic being mentally taxing, he was able to correctly assume that her tiredness was due to just that. Still, he was a little annoyed with the name she had given him. It's just that he's too tired and too nice to shoot back a snide remark at the significantly shorter girl. "Leave it to me!"

Without any tact or style, he threw himself in the conflict and smashed downward on the Seeker with the broken mask before it could heal itself. Its 'face' shattered instantly, and it died where it stood. He wasn't done yet, however; his Persona raised its right arm to fire a darkened ball at one of the piles of heads... and then another... and then another. After four Mudos, the creature was consumed by the black haze, and when it faded, nothing was there.

The pianist attempted the same to the other, but his head ached in the strain of casting so many within the same couple of seconds. He clenched at his head in his pain, and leaned against a wall. Taking advantage of this moment of weakness, a series of piercing blows struck his body and the bandaged scar beneath his clothes. Even with the defensive spell in place, Yuuki gave off a pained cry and went on his knees. It readied the same attack, and released another series upon him. The scar opened, and blood leaked from his clothing. He had enough of this mess; He gripped the Shinai tightly and knocked the Shadow onto its side. Then, he pressed his foot on one of its faces and slammed it repeatedly in its face until it stopped moving. When he removed his foot, it disappeared as all the others did.

He gasped for breath and held his wound. The bandages were doing well with suppressing the bleeding, and he wasn't going to die from all of this. Yet, he recognized this as a moment to turn back to rest. Even with the healing spells that were sure to flush through his body, it wouldn't help with the sleepiness that pulsed in his head. Yuuki did not send his regards to the healer, and he didn't say 'hi again' to the scanner. He walked back to the entrance, having enough of this place for the night.
