Name: Marina Mikami (Prefers Rina or Rini)
Age: 22
Date of Birth: February 4th
Birthplace: Seattle, Washington, USA. Ended up living in Tokyo from her teenage years onward
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Face Claim: Juvia Loxar – Fairy Tail
Appearance:
Height: 5’6”
Distinguishing Features: She has a tattoo on her left thigh that she’s a little embarrassed by, though you won’t hear her say so.
Class: Persona-user
Arcana: Priestess
Occupation: Tokyo University student
Starting Equipment: She uses a level 2 Parasol that does strike damage. It was the only thing she had on her she could use to defend herself when first experiencing the dark hour.
Personality: Marina is a quiet girl, who usually keeps to herself. She isn’t necessarily shy, though she can be; it’s more that she doesn’t really feel the need to be talkative like most people are. She would much prefer to watch and listen to other people she runs into. She can be talkative when she wants to be, though it is usually a rare occurrence. She may come across as spacey at times, but she is always paying attention to those around her. She can also come across as cold to those that don’t really know her, due to usually having a small frown on her face as her default expression.
Those who get to know her, however, will find that she has a warm inviting personality. She’ll smile more with those she is comfortable with quite easily. Marina is also someone who would do whatever she could to help a friend in need. She is also a bit of a romantic, being a sucker for concepts like high school sweethearts and soul mates. Consequently, she hasn’t really dated, being too focused on finding just the right person.
Marina also does not really have tolerance for people who are loud and obnoxious. She will often confront them so she can have some peace of mind. She will often be seen reading some kind of book, though she will put it down when someone needs her full attention. She is not someone who thinks violence is the first action one should take, though she will defend herself if needed.

History: Marina was born to a Russian-American mother and Japanese-American father in Seattle on one of the rainiest days of that year. She grew up learning three different languages, though she took more of an interest in English and Japanese, rather than the Russian her mom would sometimes speak. However, she was always partial to the attire her mom would wear, mostly due to how warm most of the clothes were. She always hated the cold and dressed warmly, even during the summer. She would sometimes be made fun of for it at school, which caused her to be a bit reclusive. However, she still managed to make the occasional friend or two, which caused her to open her shell a bit.
As a teenager she gained a bit more confidence, and while still a little shy took most teasing in stride. She was finally starting to feel like she belonged when all of a sudden her dad got a job in Tokyo. This meant that she had to move with her parents on practically the other side of the world and leave her friends behind. Before she went away, Marina and her friends went out and got matching tattoos to symbolize their friendship. She's a bit embarrassed by the tattoo, but ultimately doesn't regret getting it.
Moving to Tokyo at 16 was a big culture shock. While Marina was part Japanese, she still stuck out big time compared to everyone else. She reverted back to being a bit shyer, though with confidence to back herself up if needed. She made new friends, though not quite as close as she had been to the ones back home in Seattle and managed to get used to her new surroundings. After graduating high school she moved on to Tokyo University, where she was studying Japanese and English literature.
However, one day she stayed out too late trying to catch up on some studying. On her way back to her dorm, she experienced something she would never forget. As she walked she saw coffins all around her, unsure of how they appeared there. Then when she least expected it, she was attacked by a creature she had never seen before. Marina only had a parasol on her to defend herself with and braced herself when she heard a voice...
I am thou... Thou art I... From the sea of thy soul, I come...
Suddenly, a woman whose skin was blue appeared before her. The woman vanquished the creature. Soon after the world became normal, coffins being replaced by people. Marina was unsure what exactly had happened, but she somehow the word for who the woman was popped in her head. It was her Persona.
OOC Name: Tim
Notes: Marina can speak English and Japanese fluently. She also knows a bit of Russian but is not nearly as fluent as she is in the other two languages she knows.
She had two really good friends in America who all got matching tattoos when Marina had to leave for Tokyo. While her tattoo is blue and on her thigh, her friends have theirs red on her right hand and green on her upper left arm respectively
