The Long Tour [part 1] [Party of 2, Open]

Kyle had always wanted to check this museum out but he never found the time or the energy to do so. It was actually kinda funny how the Dark Hour actually gave him both. In fact, the place was probably a whole lot more interesting now than it would be in normal time.

Kyle lazily sauntered through the halls, stopping in front of exhibits that caught his fancy and checking them out. He'd even filched a guide book from the entrance hall to read up more about them.

Yeah, I'm a right tourist today. Woo-hoo, he thought with a smirk. Actually, the place ain't half bad.

He stopped in front of a small statue of a Bodhisattva of some kind and started to flip through the book to find its likeness and read the info. Sitri, who had been sauntering after him, lazily lay down and even yawned.

Can't believe I'm seriously doing something like this, but fuck, I'm bored. Besides, I'm pretty sure something's gonna attack soon.

Colin felt that one of the better places to get weapons would probably be the place where there were numerous amounts of them on display. On top of that, since everything electrical seemed to stop working, he had a good chance of getting away with the crime without any hassle from the cops. It was a golden opportunity.

As such, armed with his blade and mask, the teacher was exploring the old museum without much interest. He had found out that most of the weapons were in poor condition early on, but he stayed in the area because he could feel the presence of more of the creatures. 

It wasn't too long before he encountered something strange. One of the kids from his school was there, with a Persona sitting behind him. The kid was flipping through a booklet, presumably to find some information on the statue in front of him. Of course, Colin couldn't let the chance pass him by.

Adjusting his mask so that his identity wouldn't be revealed, he walked up behind the boy before placing the tip of his katana's blade on the back of the boy's neck. "What the hell," he snarled in a menacing way, "is a dumbass kid doing here? Can't you tell that it's fucking dangerous, moron?" Colin started smile as he removed the blade from the kid's general area.

"Well, I hope that if you are out here, you know that the place isn't safe. Besides, if anything breaks, you'll be paying for it. Not that a snot nose shit like you could afford it, most likely."

Kyle gasped when the blade touched his neck and Sitri snarled, as if in response to his agitation. He froze up, dropping the booklet and almost reaching for his axe, standing on its head beside him. The sick thought occurred to him, that not every Persona user was going to be a normal, well-adjusted person. Inevitably, someone completely cracked would turn up.

And it seemed like Kyle had drawn the lot to meet 'em.

He whirled around with the axe in hand when the blade was withdrawn, bearing a nasty frown.

"Who the fuck are you, shithead?" he snarled, eyeing him up and down. He seemed older and wore a stupid mask on his face. "And what's it to you what I do and where I go, huh? Fuck off."

Being insulted so thoroughly got Kyle's blood up and he really felt like taking a swing at the guy. But, however willing Kyle was to obliterate Shadows, he hadn't yet considered combat against other humans. Bare-knuckled fights to a pulp, sure, he did those for fun... but taking an axe and an angry Persona to them?

Fortunately (?), the arrival of a big, ugly Shadow riding on something like a demented rocking horse saved him from having to answer that. He eyeballed it and decided it was a far better opponent for him than the shithead.

"Get out of my way," he snarled, shoving past him without care. "Let's see who's really dangerous in this place."

He sent Sitri in for the first attack and the leopard padded over to the creature and swung its paw, delivering a powerful slash that rocked the damn thing backwards. It reeled and waved its multiple arms around, calling down a big bolt of lightning.

Kyle shrugged defensively as it hit him but although it hurt, it didn't even make him stumble and he shook it off even as electricity crackled over him. He charged the monster and swung wide, hitting its side with the axe and sending it reeling. The creature stumbled and almost fell on its side but waved its arms again, this time sending fire at him.

Kyle grunted but even as he beat the fire off himself, he commanded Sitri to attack and the leopard swung its paw angrily at it, creating another slashing attack. The Shadow's next assault came in the form of a big blast of cold and although it hurt him enough to cause small sores to open on his skin, Kyle burst through it with his axe raised and more or less chopped the thing's head clean off.

With his foe dead but him tired beyond belief, Kyle decided it was wiser to end his night early. He glared at the masked moron over his shoulder and then hefted his axe on his shoulder and stormed out of there.
