This is simply a quick run-down of how Missions will work. They will be posted in separate threads; the location being described in the mission itself. Most missions will have a basic reward of Fate Points. However, depending on the difficulty of the mission, there may be other rewards, though they tend to vary depending on each mission. While these conditions aren't necessary for completing the mission itself it will usually pay off to go out of your way to fulfill them.
There are a few things one needs to keep in mind about missions.
1) Missions difficulty is categorized in levels ranging from 1-5. The difficulty range is decided on a case to case basis and restricts the mission availability to players within that range of levels. Some may be open to all levels while some may be restricted to only Level 5 users. Others may allow levels between 1-3. These are just examples that you may see. Rewards are scaled based on these difficulties as well so the rewards are generally better on higher difficulties.
2) They are first-come-first-served. The first person to post in the thread will be the one who gets the mission, so no complaining if you miss out on one you wanted. Some missions will be open to multiple people, and will be stated in the mission if so.
3) In addition to the rule above, each character is only allowed to take one mission at a time.
4) Only the character(s) who took the mission and the mod taking care of said mission may post in a Mission Thread. Other than that, no one else may post in it.
5) You have three days to post in a mission upon having it modded. If you're in a mission with a group, order generally does not matter too much. Just post as soon as you can. Should you fail to post within that time frame and staff notices, there are two ways it can play out. If you're the only participant in the mission, the mission will be scrapped and reset. If you are only one of the participants, you will be kicked from the mission. If you're kicked from a mission, you must wait three days before enlisting in another. If there are any still open by that point, then, hey. Feel free.
6) Once you complete a mission, there's a countdown before you can jump into another mission. For the character used, you must wait seven days. Should you have an alternate character, you only need to wait three days before using the alt.
7) When you are ready, simply make a post under the mission stating you wish to take it. After you have been approved by staff, simply start the mission thread in the correct board and then link that back to its mission board post. You may only post once for each round in the mission.
