Aoi attended the dojo of a close friend as a child, learning the basics of Taekwondo. She attended for a few years before quitting upon entering middle school. She still remembers some of the moves, using various kicks for self defense. Her weapon are a pair of sturdy shoes that are level two and preform striking damage.

Personality:

Aoi's personality depends on where you run into her. Around her classmates and family, the girl is known to be very gentle and. She constantly smiles and is known for being a pleasant individual. Aoi seems to appear as a model Japanese girl. She isn't too loud nor negative. Her views on life appear to rather optimistic, and she always has a soft optimistic smile. Aoi will go to no ends to help her friends and family, even if it means inconveniencing her greatly. However, it'd be hard not to notice that she rarely gives an opinion on anything or speaks unless spoken to. She refuses to say negative things around her classmates and family or about them even when away from the individuals. Over all, Aoi appears to be fragile-y trying to protect everyone around her from something. She keeps a distance between herself and those close to her, wielding her smile as a shield and a barrier.

When alone, at work or away from her classmates and family in general, Aoi's true personality appears. She isn't a polite and proper young lady. In that girl's place is a stubborn and blunt young girl with a pessimistic viewpoint on the world. Aoi doesn't seem to believe in anything decent or good in the world. She views her life as good enough and struggles to keep it that way. After the suicide of her close friend, a popular boy who was a good friend of everyone in her small class, Aoi has taken it upon herself to bear the responsibilities he once did and more. After witnessing the sadness of his death, she's decided not to allow those close to her to cry anymore if she can help it.

Because of this, Aoi refuses to allow those close to her to worry about her. She tries to be as reliable as possible. Her goal is to become a replacement for her friend, whom broke the hearts of everyone she knew with his death. As such, Aoi will often push herself to unhealthy levels to keep her grades up as high as he did and constantly assist those she knows. However, when away from her classmates and family, Aoi's tiredness appears. It shines through as she becomes much more grumpy and hatefully honest. Her friend's suicide effected her deeply, leaving her pessimistic and desperate to keep her life as good as it is currently.

Unfortunately, in her struggle and attempts to become a replacement for her friend, Aoi has begun to wear herself down emotionally. She's becoming more depressed and pessimistic with the passing years. The weight upon her shoulders has caused her to lose any true human relations as she faithfully places the role she's assigned herself. It's unfortunate, but she hasn't yet realized she's walking down a similar path as her friend.

Likes:

• Food, One wouldn't be able to function without food. Aoi herself adores it. She finds the flavor of foods is one of the last simple joys left in life.
  
• Peace, Aoi doesn't like her schedule being disrupted. Whenever she can be in a calm setting without worry, she enjoys it.
  
• Loud Noises, Anything. Be it music, cars or the sound of people talking in the background, Aoi is terrified of silence.
  
• Seeing those close to her smiling 

Dislikes:

• Silence, When there's silence, Aoi finds herself alone with her thoughts. Her thoughts haven't been nice recently.
  
• Disruptions, Aoi hates when her schedule is messed up or changed abruptly. She's very methodical about it.
  
• Idiots, Aoi is actually very intelligent. As such, if they aren't an important person to her, she will not put up with those who seem to take a little extra longer to catch onto things.

History:

Aoi's parents were never there when she was younger. They still aren't to this day. They're obsessed with their work. Both her mother and father have become absorbed with their company's workings to the point where weeks can go by without her seeing them. As such, as a child, Aoi spent most of her time at her neighbor's house. There she saw an example of a loving family. Her best friend, Aoki, would love to laugh at how similar their names were. Because her parents worked so often, Aoi did just about everything but sleep at his house. Heck, she even did that often enough. His family saw her as their own daughter and were more than happy to care for her. Aoki's family ran a dojo out of their house, and she attended it while in elementary school with Aoki. It was during this time that her feelings for Aoki grew beyond simple friendship.

In middle school, Aoi stopped attending the dojo. At this point, her feelings for Aoki had become deeply rooted. She focused on appearing more appealing for him and trying to be girlier. She learned to cook from his mother and started leaving earlier to her own house, embarrassed to sleep in the same room with Aoki now. The two of them were still close, and she would go over constantly to study. Aoki was popular at their school. Everyone knew him. He had the best grades and was very athletic. He also went out of his way to help others all the time. All the girls in school loved him. They didn't even act jealous towards Aoi who spent so much time with him. Instead, they all simply spoke of him, laughing and giggling. After all, they had all grown up together in a small private school. All of them were life long friends.

Aoi was the only one who got to see the serious studious side of Aoki. While everyone thought his grades came easily to him, she knew he studied for hours every night on top of his martial arts practice. She knew him the best. They'd study together every night and he'd help her whenever she needed it. Unfortunately for Aoi, she didn't know him as well as she thought she did. In their first year of high school, Aoki took his own life. Aoi had been the last to see him, studying with him in silence like they usually did. That night, something weird had happened. He actually kissed her. Aoi ran out of the house that night, her heart filled with embarrassment and happiness. It obviously didn't last long.

Over the next month, the entire school seemed to grieve. Aoki's family help Aoi closely as her own parents weren't around to do so. Watching the sad faces of those around her, the kind hearted Aoi decided to take on the mantle of Aoki, doing her best to take on the duties he did. She took his place as class president and soon found herself in the same position he held within the classroom and his family's life.

Most recently,  while walking home from her part time job late,  shes begun to notice strange things happening. She's written it off as being so tired she managed to get home and fall asleep without realizing it or fell asleep on the train. After all, it certainly doesn't feel real. Everything seems to change into a nightmarish different tone. All there is around her is a dreadful silence with the exception of a voice. "I am thou and thou ist me." Well the voice only happened once. The first or second time she had the strange dream, some strange monsters tried to attack her. A weird lady appeared from a bright light and led her away from them. It was a pretty bizarre dream. Since then she's been appearing occasionally. Aoi feels the nightmares are taking a toll on her as she always wakes up tired and stiff the next day.

Aoi has a secret weakness for cute fluffy things. She was named for the color of her eyes, Aoi meaning blue. She doesn't refer to her mother or father as her "family." Aoki's family is whom she considers her own. As such, any references in her personality to her family are towards his. Aoi's mother is currently working overseas while her father is staying in a small apartment in another district close to his office. She is also the student body president and student representative for her class and school.
