Post by Jun Himura on Apr 14, 2015 0:49:23 GMT
Name: Jun Himura
Age: 16
Date of Birth: April 19th
Birthplace: Osaka, Japan
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Pansexual
Face Claim: Namazuo Toushirou - Touken Ranbu
Appearance:
Height: 5’1”
Distinguishing Features: Jun wears prescribed contact lenses daily, although most people wouldn’t notice them.
Class: Persona user
Arcana: Empress
Occupation: Student, Drama club member
Starting Equipment: Jun’s starting weapon is an old and dusted Fire Ax that he “borrowed” from an old building. It is a Level 2 weapon and deals Slashing damage.
Personality: Jun is a soft-spoken young man of pursuits and tranquility, or at the least, that’s what he sees himself as. Holding a catty sense of wit and charm, he does his best to keep with his manners and posture while he makes the most fun out of others, often enjoying being in the spotlight from time to time. Even though this might give him a narcissistic demeanor, he’s really a selfless person deep down. Although he values friendships and bonding above all else, Jun seldom admits his true feelings underneath all the positivity. In truth, he can have trouble choosing sides in most given conflicts, often choosing to bottle up the things that he feels may hurt someone or drive them away from him. The worse thing that could happen to Jun is being left alone.
Jun is a very obsessive and organized person underneath the surface; preparing and scheduling as much as he can for each day and making sure everything is perfected to a T. He has conditioned himself to do what it necessary to get by, within reason. His whole operation, his way of living, is all about control. Anything that can go wrong can easily drive him to the edge, and despite his usual skill in keeping under pressure, there will the the rare moment when he lashes out in anger and frustration. Combining this with his own issues of letting out his feelings, and you have a catastrophe on your hands. Every bit of failure, even the smaller ones, can easily turn him inside out.
Given his past background, Jun’s interests in literature, theatrics and his own crafting seem only natural. One could say that his actual acting skill is equally as matched, but in most others’ eyes, it’s more of an odd nuisance than a beauty. However, he often gets carried away with quoting as well as sticking his nose around unwanted places. Jun especially holds a lot of worth and fondness for people, and for better or worse, he never leaves one of interest alone. Speaking of such, there is also his fondness for taking advantage of his androgynous appearance, paying no mind if he catches the eye of boys or girls. It's often as much trouble as it rewards him, but it’s his ever-undying wanderlust that drives the young little imp to keep living.

History: Jun had been born and raised in Osaka with his parents, who allowed their eldest daughter, Madoka, to study abroad. Over the years, he came to have as much of a stable life as one could gain in the simple town life. Despite being branded an outcast by other boys for his feminine form and awkwardness, he did all he could to keep going with life. There were many days when Jun felt alone, but he always had his family. He went on to make pen pals with his dear sister, often receiving notes of her consoling him and telling him of her adventures away from home. Her many gifts and books would spark new-found curiosity in the young boy, and with it, his interests the arts, gardening, and crafting for the theater.
Through all the good and bad things that happened in their lives, Jun and Madoka's relationship remained strong. Eventually, their parents would connect and grow with them as the years passed. Despite the reservations Jun's parents had of his occasional interests in other boys and perceivably feminine activities, Madoka remained accepting and encouraging. In time, Jun’s family grew closer than ever before, and it seemed that the boy would grow up just fine. Acceptance was all he ever wanted in this world.
Unfortunately for Jun and the Himura clan, a traffic accident would take Madoka’s life, just a little after his fifteenth birthday. It was enough of a strain upon the family's heart, but there was no doubt that Jun took it the hardest. This had lead to many times where Jun would barely even move, let alone speak to others. Anyone who tried would get yelled at, or sometimes, get sucked into a fight. Ultimately, Jun's parents felt that a change of scenery was needed. Within several months, they would move to Tokyo and transfer Jun to Toshima Gakuen, where they would hope that a “new” life would cheer him up. The progress was slow, but eventually, Jun seemed to get back to a normal state with even more friends.
Unbeknownst to them, however, Jun’s body was pretty much on autopilot. On the inside, his mind is still reeling from the loss of the one person that every really knew his real self. It was ripping him apart from within, but all he could do was go on with his dull life. At least, it was “dull” until one particular night. He could still recall walking home late from drama rehearsals, hearing stranges voices from a distance. A sentence, muffled at first, started to boom within his mind; "Thou art I, and I am thou". Since then, it seemed like Jun was having a single dream, over and over. He would be in the dark, monsters all around him, and a winged woman would be fighting by his side. He would appear exhausted and left with the occasional scar after waking up, barely remembering the previous night.
