Well, while it had originally been intended as a simple meeting for the sake of speaking with Rukako in a non-business- both fighting and idol-related- environment, the two of them going out to play certainly did not inhibit his objective. If anything, it was an unplanned but altogether effective and efficient choice to make. It would cause the two of them to develop a newer, stronger sense of camaraderie, and it wasn't like it would be boring, anyway. Fortunately, that yen he had prepared would be more than sufficient for a short time of fun in the arcade.
It wasn't like they were going to follow up with a large meal after that, after all.
"Of course." The boy, still smiling, commented after the girl's amusing, and dare he say cute, realization and defense. While he would have offered to pay her share, the girl was quick to take care of her own. Besides, it very well may have seemed like a date, otherwise. The boy took his last cookie, last at that point, and somehow managed to work the entirety of it into his mouth. It was not a formal location, nor was he really trying to impress the girl. He was relaxed, and, on the suggestion that they could leave when he was ready, he simply opted to cut down on the time necessary. Munching, chewing, and otherwise causing his cheeks to slightly puff out in a manner not unlike squirrels or chipmunks, the boy wiped his fingers off on one of the paper towels at the table and started upwards while swallowing.
"In that case, let us depart and go on an excellent adventure together." He casually referenced a title from an older Western movie before smiling at the girl and strolling towards the doors at a casual pace. Upon their exit, he took a moment to scan the surroundings. One might have assumed he was getting his bearings on the locations, but he was actually just looking around to see if the girl's mother was around. He didn't see anybody that looked like they'd be related to the model-turned-idol, but they could have escaped his vigil. Or been in a vehicle. As much as he would have loved to embarrass the girl further, he wasn't going to put an excess of effort into it. It was best to let the chances come naturally and easily.
"Well, it's not too long of a walk from here." He declared with a nod. Had to play off his attempt at finding her mother, at least. Truthfully, though, it was actually just a couple of blocks away. Knowing the general layout of good "hubs" like that area was good for breaking the ice when meetings came around. Sure enough, though, a short walk had brought them to the location in question. The moment the doors slid open, the cacophony of sounds- games of all sorts and musics of all kinds echoing through the expanse- and plethora of scents- musks and snacks- hit them. Honestly, the boy didn't do the best in those sorts of environments because of the sounds, but he'd be fine if he had sufficient distractions. Good thing he had one of the best entertaining distractions one could have.
"It's probably better if we don't put too much distance between us in here, though. The dim lighting and excess of people can make it easy to get split up." Or molested. He added, mentally. Though he was less concerned for her and more concerned for the idiots that even tried it. Sure, she was a girl, but if Rukako didn't freeze up, she'd handle them plenty well, he was sure. A broken nose or jaw was likely the least of their worries.
