For the most part Anne remained silent and flipped through her binder that they had given her. It had some pretty useful information, but she still pulled out a notebook of her own and jotted down notes as everyone theorized and introduced themselves around her. At the very least she wanted to keep track of their names. She was terrible with remembering names, so hopefully by keeping a list of them she would have an easier time. If not, she had a sneaking suspicion she'd be seeing enough of them to remember their names before too long.
When Kate walked in, Anne looked up from her plate of food and waved with a smile. Her and Akira were the only two she had spent even a small amount of time talking to before today, so it was nice to see the familiar faces. Chewing on the back of her pen absently as she started filling in notes on the pages of her binder, she was lost in her own little world when the explosion happened. Her knee smacked against the bottom of the table as she jumped, a small whine of discomfort sneaking out of her throat. It didn't take her more than a moment to figure out what had happened, especially with Luke─Lucretia─announcing it. She couldn't bring herself to mock her though, considering the dork Anne had just made of herself.
As they continued, her head tilted slightly while she absorbed what they had to say. She had figured that there were people in the coffins, and cleared her throat softly before adding to what they had all already noted, "I'm pretty sure it's anything living get put into those coffins, although I'm sure you've all figured that bit out already. It about gave me a heart attack the first time my ferret cage was occupied by coffins instead of, well, ferrets. I can't say I have the courage to use my own pets as test subjects to see what would happen if I got them out of the coffins, though." She shuddered at the thought, fighting demons and shadows was frustrating enough. Losing her critters because of all of this would probably push her off the deep end.
As the topic changed to what Kate and herself had discussed briefly the other night, Ariane nodded when the odd older man said his mind. "I was thinking something along those lines myself. While everyone else already brought up why we're not going to norms with any of this, I think us being able to handle this without going actually crazy ourselves may be part of the reason we actually have our Personas to begin with. That should say something about who we are as people at least, right?" Glancing to the younger boy she had fought alongside the Dino with, she listened quietly. For a split second she thought he almost called himself something lewd until her brain caught up with the words, and she instantly felt terrible for momentarily thinking something like that. At least she didn't say the joke out loud, she could tell by his body language it was a sore subject, and she had no place to comment.
When he continued his little speech, she found her eyebrows creasing together as she thought about what he said. Finally, she shrugged and shook her head. Smiling weakly she said her own piece, "That's all very true, but... at least for me, that also shows why I need to keep fighting. If my theory that whatever this all is has to do with the disappearances, since Kate and I were talking about how the timeline seems to line up pretty eerily, what happens if we do nothing? We don't know what's causing them, sure, but what if it's what we're fighting? Yea, it's pretty damn terrifying. Gods know I want to run every time I see one of those suckers. But then I think of my Aunt who hasn't a clue about any of this and wonder, what if she wakes up like I did but can't fight back? That I made it through is a miracle in and of itself. It's one reason I patrol the dark hour around my neighborhood pretty often. Just to be safe. And then like you said, there's a lot of us. We kinda gotta stick together. If we don't, death becomes quite a bit more than a possibility. Think of it; if it had been just one of us caught fighting the surfer ogre or Chomper in the museum, that would have been that. So that's just another reason I can't call it quits now, you all need someone to throw a few punches on your behalf now and then. As long as you have my back, I'll try to have all of yours." She had gone off a little more than she intended too, but with what she wanted to say said, she went back to picking at her food on her plate. The binder and notebook next to her were now filled with plenty of her chicken scratch notes, and she couldn't think of anything else she felt she wanted to write. What she said was pretty damn lame and cheesy, sure, but it was said.
